Rain is a financial wellness benefit offered by Bar Louie. Team members can access their earned wages before their regularly scheduled payday through the Rain app.

Rain is available to all active salaried and hourly non-tipped Bar Louie team members. Tipped job codes and hours will not register in the Rain app.

Rain will be available to team members beginning July 1, 2026.

Through the Rain App, team members request to receive up to 50% of their earned wages before their scheduled payday. The amount of advanced pay is then deducted from the team member’s next paycheck. The pay advance is not deemed a loan and no interest is assessed.

Download the free "Rain Instant Pay" App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Create an account and select "Bar Louie" as your employer. Use the email address and phone number that matches your payroll profile in ADP to sign up.

Rain is not a loan, and there are no fees other than the small advancement fee of $3.99 for instant transfers. There is no interest. The money advanced from Rain is the money that a team member has earned at work. Anything advanced will be deducted from the team member's next paycheck.

Bar Louie signed up for Rain so that team members can access wages from the Rain app. Earned wage information comes directly from Bar Louie. Team members will see earned wages in the Rain app within 24 hours of a completed shift.

When the immediate need for funds occurs between paychecks, Rain can provide team members with alternatives to high-interest-rate payday loans and high overdraft fees.

For pay advance purposes, eligible pay is always calculated based on the team member’s hourly wage rate multiplied by the hours they have worked in a given pay cycle and divided in half (or multiplied by 50%). They will only have access to 50% of a maximum amount of 8 hours of working wages.

Rain receives team members’ punch data multiple times daily, and the Rain app will reflect a balance of pay that can be advanced. Therefore, wages will be reflected in the Rain app within 24 hours of the team member’s shift ending.

In this scenario, the team member’s net pay with Bar Louie would be zero for that pay date and the team member will be placed into an "arrears" status with Rain. Rain would then flag the team member’s account as “paused”. Bar Louie only allows an advancement of 50% of earned wages to protect the team member from having a $0 paycheck.

The total amount transferred during each pay period will be shown as a separate line-item deduction with the code RAIN.

You may need to log into Bar Louie’s ADP site to update your contact information if Rain is unable to validate you are a current team member.

No. Rain is a voluntary optional benefit. If you do not wish to participate, no action is needed.

Rain complies with all consumer protection guidelines, including the requirement to delete customer information at the user's request. There are 2 ways to end your enrollment in Rain: 1) Remove the link to your debit card and/or banking information and delete the app from your phone. 2) Contact Rain directly and request the deletion of your account and your personal information.
