Rain is a financial wellness benefit offered by Freebirds. Tribe can access 50% of their earned wages before their regularly scheduled payday through the Rain app.

When the immediate need for funds occurs between paychecks, Rain can provide Tribe members with alternatives to high-interest-rate payday loans and high overdraft fees.

Rain is available to all active hourly and salary Freebirds Tribe members.

Through the Rain App, Tribe can receive up to 50% of their earned wages before their scheduled payday. The early pay amount is then deducted from the Tribe member’s next paycheck. The pay advance is not deemed a loan and no interest is acquired. Any non-transferred wages will be paid to your next regularly scheduled paycheck.

Download the free “Rain Instant Pay” App from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Create an account and select “Sun Holdings” as your employer. Use the email address and phone number that matches your payroll profile in UKG.

Rain is not a loan. There is no interest, and there are no fees other than the small advancement fee of $3.99 for instant transfers. The balance generated in the Rain app is derived from earned wages in a given pay period. Anything advanced will be deducted from the Tribe member’s next paycheck.

Earned wage information and time punches are provided to Rain by Freebirds to generate a balance in your Rain app. Your balance will populate within 24 hours of a completed shift. You can begin accessing funds as soon as you have a balance in the app. Please note that your hours sent to Rain will be capped at 4 hours per day (max of 8 hours x 50%).

If you have signed up but don’t actively use the Rain app, you will receive your regularly scheduled paycheck to the payment method in your UKG profile. Rain doesn’t charge any fees for you to have an account.

Yes! Referrals are easy AND put money in your pocket! With Rain’s Referral Program, both the referrer and the referred Tribe get rewarded. That means once a referral joins Rain and completes a transaction, the referrer will get $15 and the referred Tribe will get $5. Refer fellow Tribe and earn up to $300.
